Our well stocked bar is open all day every day serving traditional cask ales, lagers, ciders and fine wines, as well as a wide range of bottled beers and also a selection of Teas and Coffees.
Our current draught selection includes:
Ruddles County, Abbots Ale, Speckled Hen, IPA, Becks Vier, Kronenburg, Carlsberg, Strongbow, Aspells Cider and Guinness
Relax in our traditional bar area, by the fire in the Winter or in the Summer months you can dine al fresco, outside on our peaceful patio, overlooking the bowling green or the fields next door.
Why not take time out and enjoy our private bowling green, one of if not the oldest Crown Bowling Greens in the UK. For the more adventurous how about pre-booking a corporate clay pigeon shoot, on our own Clay Pigeon Shooting Grounds? Private clay pigeon shooting tuition also available - shooting for groups and parties.
We are able to cater for wedding receptions and functions for between 10 and 140 people

Children friendly pub. We offer a 'small persons' menu for those who wish to enjoy good quality produce, but don't yet have the appetite to match your enthusiasm. Adventure area with activity tower and children's swing in the beer garden.
